~ LEAD WATER OPERATOR

The successful candidate will be responsible for all facets of drinking water compliance, interaction with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, and the general public. The selected candidate is required to have Drinking Water Distribution and Treatment Licenses and Cross Connection Control Survey and Testing Licenses

Essential responsibilities include water system inspection, operation and maintenance, and recommendations for improvements to the systems. Successful candidate will also conduct sampling/analysis of water systems as required; maintaining compliance with all State and Federal regulatory requirements and guidelines; provide technical, administrative, and field tasks as required to assist water systems in compliance with DEP, EPA, and local regulations. Items consist of but are not limited to CCE’s, Monitoring Waivers, Wellhead protection issues/ plans, preventive maintenance, emergency response plans, operation and maintenance manuals, and sanitary surveys; Ensure that all aspects of cross connection control are conducted in accordance with 310 CMR 22.22, and within budget constraints; Cross connection control testing/surveying; inventory and tool maintenance. The ability to work independently under the general supervision of the Division Manager is essential.

~ WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR

WhiteWater, Inc. is currently seeking a MA certified grade 4M or higher wastewater treatment plant operator for the Central and Southeast MA areas. Responsibilities will include daily inspection, operation and maintenance of small wastewater package plants. Individual needs to be familiar with groundwater discharge permits, operation of portable samplers, BNR processes and basic preventive maintenance operations. The applicant must be able to work independently. Great pay and benefits along with a company vehicle are provided.
